We make and supply superior jams, chutneys and marmalades to shops, delicatessens, farmers markets, hotels, B&B's, distributors... the list keeps growing. Over the last 14 years we've worked hard to build an enviable reputation for quality, excellence and variety of choice.
Many of the recipes we use are sourced from old cookery books and texts going back to the Middle Ages. Some of the fruit used for those recipes is sourced from Brogdale Farm which contains the National Fruit Collection. By using Heritage varieties of fruit to make our products, we can bring to life many long-forgotten recipes and provide people with the opportunity to taste a part of their heritage.
We pride ourselves on using the best of British fruit and vegetables wherever possible, epitomising the unique flavour of British produce and will not use any additives, colourings, flavourings or unnecessary chemicals. All varieties are slowly cooked in small batches to better retain flavour which can otherwise be lost by using large-scale industrial processes.
We firmly believe that good food comes from good ingredients, simply prepared, without any unnecessary additives.
We will not sacrifice our ideals to produce a cheaper product.
